Job summary

Ameresco, Inc. is seeking a Solar Electrician to support our Kingman, AZ solar operations and maintenance team on a utility-scale project. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain solar site equipment, ensuring safety and reliability in daily site tasks.

The role requires a valid Arizona Journeyman's Electrical License and at least 2 years of industrial solar electrical maintenance experience. You will mentor apprentices, document work, and be available for after-hours calls as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Journeyman's Electrical License.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial solar electrical maintenance.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and install solar site equipment such as solar panels, inverters, transformers, breakers, switchgear, and SCADA.
• Read manuals, blueprints and control system drawings; document work with work orders and time cards.
• Supervise and train apprentices and coworkers on safety and maintenance procedures.
• Be available for after-hours and weekend call outs as needed.
• Maintain and update records of work in progress and completed tasks.
