Job summary

Ameresco, Inc. in Kingman, AZ is seeking an Electrician to join our Solar Operations & Maintenance team on a power plant project.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain solar site equipment including inverters, panels, and SCADA systems, under supervision of the Lead Electrician. The role requires a current Arizona Journeyman Electrical License, 2+ years in industrial solar maintenance, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have journeyman license in Arizona.
• 2+ years of industrial solar electrical maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Recognize hazards and follow safety guidelines for personal protection and others.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints and control drawings; work under Lead Electrician supervision.
• Complete records (work orders, calibration sheets, time cards, material requests) for progress and completion.
• Repair, test, troubleshoot, inspect, install, remove and maintain solar site equipment (panels, inverters, transformers, breakers, switchgear, SCADA).
• Supervise and train apprentices/coworkers on safe tool use and procedures.
• Occasional after-hours and weekend call outs may be required.
• Perform other duties as required.
