Job summary
QE Solar is seeking a Solar Electrician (Journeyman) to provide hands-on technical expertise across multiple PV plant sites, focusing on maintenance, equipment repair, and on-demand troubleshooting for PV arrays, inverters, MV, and BESS systems.
You will diagnose failures, perform preventative maintenance, install and maintain electrical equipment, and mentor technicians while coordinating with contractors to ensure safety and compliance at all times.
Qualifications
- CA Journeyman license required.
- Electrical experience with electrical license 1+ years.
- Inverter and/or BESS certifications preferred.
- Thermography certifications (Level 1) preferred.
- OSHA 30 Certification and NFPA 70E training desired.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair solar site equipment and failures.
- Diagnose/troubleshoot equipment and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Lead, oversee, and coordinate contractors/sub-contractors for field operations.
- Prepare/service tickets and reports for site visits and repairs.
