Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a mid-senior level Commissioning Project Manager to oversee the installation and testing of Battery Energy Storage Systems and Solar Power Systems. This full-time role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and leading project closeout activities. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in solar commissioning and be capable of traveling to various job sites across the US.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in PV utility-scale solar commissioning management.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle for commuting between locations.
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery, installation, quality, and performance testing of Battery Energy Storage and Solar Power Systems.
• Manage subcontractors and OEMs, ensuring safety and quality control.
• Prepare and review project closeout and testing documents.

Skills

Ability to travel and stay at project sites

PV utility-scale solar commissioning management

Inverter and communications troubleshooting

Hot/cold commissioning experience

Electrical IFR/IFC Drawing experience

Education

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
