Job summary

Alignerr is seeking soil and water conservation scientists to help evaluate AI outputs on sustainable land and water management. You will review AI-generated scenarios for accuracy and practicality and provide structured feedback to improve rigor and readability.

The role is remote, hourly/contract, with 10–40 hours per week. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in relevant fields and a background in soil science, hydrology, or conservation planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in soil science, hydrology, conservation planning, or a closely related field.
• Strong working knowledge of soil processes, water systems, and conservation techniques.
• Skilled at critically evaluating applied environmental science reasoning.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated soil and water conservation scenarios for scientific accuracy and practical soundness
• Assess content related to erosion control, watershed management, and soil health
• Identify flawed assumptions, oversimplifications, or impractical recommendations in AI outputs
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve scientific rigor and readability
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
