Job summary

SkyePoint Decisions is looking for a Software Tester to support a contract with the IRS. As a remote position, the Software Tester will be responsible for ensuring software applications meet required standards through functional and integration testing.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with significant IT experience, including the ability to maintain IRS Public Trust. This position offers flexible work alongside comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant IT and software testing experience.
• Must be able to obtain IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) Public Trust.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and integration testing of software applications.
• Support the IRS tax processing pipeline and master file systems.
• Construct test cases using IRS or Contractor-developed documentation.
• Notify programmers of errors and inconsistencies in programs.
• Coordinate test activities with project stakeholders.
• Provide inputs on the required testing level of effort.
