Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Software Security Engineer to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, partnering with engineering teams to design secure systems and reduce risk across our application portfolio.

The role blends hands-on offensive and defensive security with strong collaboration, requiring deep technical security expertise and solid software engineering fundamentals to ship security improvements that reduce production risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5+ years in application security or security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and vulnerability classes.
• Hands-on code review across at least two major languages.
• Familiarity with SAST, DAST, SCA, and CI/CD-integrated tooling.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and cryptography.
• Experience with cloud security and infrastructure controls.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Programming experience for tooling and automation.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
