Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. is seeking a Software Product Manager to guide strategy, discovery, development, and delivery of software for structural building components.

You will partner with customers, Product Development, UX, and cross-functional teams to prioritize customer problems and deliver measurable value. The role emphasizes understanding component design workflows, translating them into product priorities, and advocating for the products across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software-related component manufacturing or equivalent.
• 1+ year in product management or related discipline.
• Experience with cross-functional software development teams.
• Knowledge of structural building components and workflows is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, roadmap, and measurable objectives.
• Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Software Development, UX, QA, Engineering, and other partners throughout discovery and delivery.
• Lead product decisions, tradeoffs, and prioritization to deliver customer value.
