Job summary

DriveTime is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering (Remote) to oversee end-to-end delivery of Pega projects and lead a high-performing engineering team from a home office. Responsible for planning, risk management, and ensuring quality, you will mentor engineers, drive Agile best practices, and champion AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery.

Applicants should have 5+ years of leadership in software projects, a BS in IT, and deep experience with Pega case management.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional development experience and have led teams informally or formally on large projects.
Strong case management background, including designing and delivering Pega case types, stages and steps, routing, SLAs, and case lifecycle automation for complex business processes.
Deep understanding of Agile principles and experience mentoring teams on their application.
Demonstrated use of AI in the execution of prior roles, such as AI-assisted code development or leading AI adoption within a team or organization.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and completion of features, managing project scope, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collective ownership of quality and deliverables, championing the use of AI tools to improve productivity.
Set clear, measurable performance goals for team members and conduct regular 1:1s to track progress.
