Job summary

CSI is seeking a Manager - Software Engineering to lead multiple teams focused on account opening and customer relationship solutions. You will mentor engineers, drive delivery, and partner with Product, Project Management, Architecture and Engineering to improve automation and efficiency.

The role emphasizes AI adoption, SDLC practices, and strong API security (OAuth2/JWT). A 6+ year track record in software development and leadership, plus a CS/IT/Engineering background, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience developing REST APIs using C#, .NET, Java, Python, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of API security concepts, including OAuth2 and JWT.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of software development, system integration, and technical delivery processes.
• Experience using AI-enabled development and project management tools, including Azure DevOps.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and SDLC practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to build effective partnerships across teams and departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team supporting account opening and customer initiatives.
• Oversee software development, maintenance, and technical processes related to these teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery outcomes.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency efforts.
• Support system integrations and technical delivery processes.
• Foster collaboration and effective communication among technical and business stakeholders.
• Ensure project commitments, quality standards, and customer expectations are met throughout each team project.
• Support the strategic adoption of AI and intelligent automation within these teams, identifying opportunities to streamline activities and accelerate client implementations through data-driven optimization.
