Job summary

Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) is seeking a Manager - Software Engineering (Account Opening & Customer) to lead multiple teams delivering solutions for account opening and customer relationships.

You will partner with Product, Project Management, Architecture, and Engineering to drive delivery, automation, AI adoption, and continuous improvement across these teams. You will mentor engineers, oversee API development, and align technical delivery with business goals while ensuring quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building REST APIs with C#, .NET, Java, Python, Node.js, or similar.
• Understanding of OAuth2 and JWT security concepts.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools and SDLC practices.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps processes.

Job Description:

The Manager - Software Engineering (Account Opening & Customer) leads multiple teams responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting software solutions and processes used for account opening and customer relationships. This role partners closely with Product, Project Management, Architecture, and Engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery while driving operational efficiency, automation, AI adoption, and continuous improvement for these teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team supporting account opening and customer initiatives.
• Oversee software development, maintenance, and technical processes related to these teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery outcomes.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency efforts.
• Support system integrations and technical delivery processes.
• Foster collaboration and effective communication among technical and business stakeholders.
• Ensure project commitments, quality standards, and customer expectations are met throughout each team project.
• Support the strategic adoption of AI and intelligent automation within these teams, identifying opportunities to streamline activities, reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate client implementations through data-driven process optimization.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging AI-enabled tools, analytics, and workflow automation to increase team productivity, enhance scalability, and deliver measurable operational efficiencies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience developing REST APIs using C#, .NET, Java, Python, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of API security concepts, including OAuth2 and JWT.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of software development, system integration, and technical delivery processes.
• Experience using AI-enabled development and project management tools, including Azure DevOps.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to build effective partnerships across teams and departments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading process improvement, automation, or operational efficiency initiatives.
• Strong preference for candidates with FinTech industry experience.
