Job summary

Orlando Informer is seeking a Software Engineer to build thoughtful, reliable technology for guest experiences and hospitality at scale. You’ll own meaningful pieces of the product from day one—from our React Native app to backend services and data layers uniting ticketing, events, and guest systems.

Bring 3+ years of production-grade software engineering, strong JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native experience, and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills across both client and server.
• Hands-on experience with React Native (Expo experience a plus).

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features in our React Native mobile app from concept through App Store/Play Store release.
• Design, build, and maintain Node/NestJS APIs powering mobile and web experiences.
• Write and optimize SQL against MySQL databases and shape the schema as products grow.
• Integrate with third-party platforms like Stripe and Shopify.
• Debug production issues across the stack and improve reliability.
• Collaborate closely with a lean team and decide next builds.
