RemoteJobsOne is seeking a Software Engineer, New Grad, to join a remote, full-time team. In this role you’ll build production systems across internal tools, services, and AI-powered products, contributing end-to-end from backend to frontend while growing into ownership of critical components.

You'll collaborate with product and design, learn scalable practices, and participate in reviews, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Internship, co-op, research, or meaningful personal/project experience building software.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Experience with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to Git and modern software development workflows.
• Interest in learning quickly and contributing in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end fullstack systems powering internal workflows and platform capabilities.
• Build backend services and APIs with an emphasis on scalable engineering practices.
• Develop frontend interfaces for internal teams and end users.
• Contribute to data modeling and database optimization, including schema design and queries.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and design to deliver production-ready features.
• Improve quality through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and learn to build observable systems.
• Make thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and maintainability.
