Job summary

Zillow Group seeks a Software Development Engineer to drive end-to-end delivery, building core databases, APIs, and infrastructure within the ZHL GNOME team for mortgage lifecycles. You will design features, review peers’ code, and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative, multi-functional environment.

This telework/remote role supports U.S. applicants from any location, with occasional travel for events and a competitive base salary plus equity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development with ES6, React, TS, and GraphQL.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong frontend and backend capabilities across modern tech stacks.
• Leadership and mentorship experience on engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery and support of projects.
• Design new features and review peers' code.
• Advocate for standard methodologies and best practices.
