Job summary

Stax.ai is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for a 12-week summer program. You will work on real features and infrastructure alongside full-time engineers, shipping code relied on by TPAs nationwide.

You’ll be embedded in a 2-week cycle: pick issues in Linear, open PRs, review code, and demo in retrospectives. By summer’s end you’ll have contributions to production systems for your resume.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in CS or Software Engineering.
• Familiarity with Go, TypeScript, or Python.
• Built projects, open source, or hackathon experience.
• Strong communication and willingness to learn AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Work on features in Next.js frontend or Go backend services.
• Write tests and improve documentation.
• Contribute to infrastructure tooling on GKE and MongoDB.
• Migrate legacy services into new architecture and demo progress.
