Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Software Engineer, Integrations to design, build, and scale data integration infrastructure across HRIS, payroll, ATS, ERP, and other enterprise systems.

You will develop APIs, connectors, and automated workflows, while collaborating with engineering, implementation, and customer success teams. This remote-first role emphasizes ownership, security, and reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of production software experience with strong backend fundamentals.
• Experience with third-party API integrations (REST/SOAP, webhooks, OAuth, API keys).
• Experience designing or maintaining data pipelines and workflow orchestration.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling/validation knowledge.
• Familiarity with HRIS/ATS/CRM/ERP platforms and enterprise deployments.
• Strong technical documentation and clear communication skills.
• Customer-focused engineering mindset emphasizing usability, reliability, and transparency.
• Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance when handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable integration platforms for secure data exchange.
• Build native integrations, connectors, APIs, and automated workflows across HRIS, ATS, payroll, CRM, ERP, and third-party apps.
• Develop robust API integrations considering authentication, pagination, rate limits, and schema changes.
• Improve data ingestion pipelines and workflow orchestration for large datasets and reliable operation.
• Work across Go-based APIs, Temporal workflows, Python transformations, and frontend apps.
• Implement error-handling, monitoring, retry, and recovery mechanisms for easier troubleshooting.
• Improve customer-facing integration experiences with data mappings and status visibility.
• Collaborate with Forward Deployed Eng, Implementation, Customer Success, Product and other teams.
• Establish integration standards, documentation, reusable patterns, and governance for scalability.
• Ensure secure handling of sensitive employee/compensation data.
