Job summary

Providence is seeking a Software Engineer II - Remote to develop, implement and maintain information systems for research and clinical trials data. You will work with researchers on the design, testing and implementation of systems and infrastructure supporting modern software development practices.

This remote role is open to candidates in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, California, Texas or New Mexico proximity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or 4 years of related experience.
• 2 years experience as Software Developer/Engineer, Dev Ops or similar duties.
• 2 years experience with versioning and release management.
• 2 years experience with server management.
• 2 years experience coding in Ruby, JavaScript, HTML or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain information systems and software for research and clinical trials.
• Collaborate with researchers on design, testing and implementation of systems.
• Provide timely insight to leadership to leverage technologies in future plans.
