Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our remote team in the United States.

You will contribute to designing, building, and optimizing software that supports mission-critical outcomes for our clients, with an emphasis on collaboration and high-quality code. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of software engineering experience, proficiency in Java and JavaScript, and familiarity with React, Angular, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions aligned with client requirements and organizational standards.
• Optimize existing systems and code bases for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with minimal disruption to operations.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure secure coding practices.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and recommend improvements.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
