Job summary

MixRank is a fully remote, async software engineering team building data products at scale. We hire generalist engineers to work across web apps, data mining, ML, ETL, and databases, tailoring the role to your strengths.

You’ll contribute in Python, Rust, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Nix, with core focus on Python, PostgreSQL, Linux, and Git. Deployments are frequent, and onboarding is designed to get you productive quickly.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, Linux and Git.
• Experience with data mining, web applications, and ML/DS is beneficial.
• Strong motivation for independent, self-directed work in a remote async environment.

Responsibilities

• Work across web apps, data mining, ML/DS, ETL, data modeling, and DB scaling.
• Collaborate across infrastructure, DevOps, and related systems to deploy updates.
• Contribute to codebase with Python, Rust, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Nix.
