Job summary

ORC is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy applications, data solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities. You will work with stakeholders, the Software Development Manager, and a small team to implement scalable solutions using SQL, Snowflake, dbt, and Document AI.

You will spend ~80% of your time coding and 20% collaborating and shaping the technical direction. Remote work is offered with preference for candidates near Charlotte, NC; relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience delivering production software.
• Experience with Document AI, OCR, data warehousing, or related technologies.
• Strong SQL and relational data experience.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, data pipelines, and data integration.
• Experience designing or integrating APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement software applications addressing business needs.
• Help design, build, and implement Document AI capabilities and pilots.
• Develop data solutions involving warehouses, pipelines, and integrations across enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows and requirements.
• Build and maintain data transformations and pipelines using SQL, dbt, Snowflake, APIs.
• Contribute to technical design decisions with scalability, security, and cost in mind.
