Job summary
orcristtechnologies seeks a hands-on software engineer to build data pipelines for petabyte-scale datasets and support sub-second queries on a Kubernetes-based platform offered as a B2B SaaS or self-hosted, including air-gapped deployments.
You will prototype rapidly, build tooling for visual data analytics, and collaborate on architecture reviews, with travel every 2–4 weeks. Remote-first across Germany, flexible hours, and growth opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, physics, math, or related field.
- Strong programming skills and ability to code independently.
- Interest in data analytics and data pipelines.
- Experience with AI-assisted development environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine data pipelines for large-scale data.
- Build tooling and infrastructure for visual analytics.
- Develop scrapers and data collection utilities.
- Support CV workflows from software and data perspectives.
- Lead short experiments and rapidly prototype ideas.
- Travel every 2–4 weeks for architecture reviews and team events.
