One Call in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer at an entry level. The role involves designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting software for internal teams and external customers. You will collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and other engineers to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Essential knowledge includes end-to-end SDLC, agile, and modern development approaches.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; supports One Call values.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project.
• Follows One Call SDLC Standards.
• Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
• Maintains, tests and integrates application components.
• Demonstrates understanding of One Call systems and workers' compensation industry.
• Translates business requirements into product designs.
• Writes technical specifications and documentation.
