One Call, a remote-first company, is seeking a Software Engineer. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software used by internal teams and external customers.

You will work with business analysts and product managers to deliver projects on time and within budget, with guidance from senior engineers. This entry-level role expects 0-2 years of experience, a Bachelor's in CS or related field, and familiarity with SDLC.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (waterfall, agile, iterative).
• Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition.
• Excellent customer service skills for internal and external customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support in defined projects.
• Follows One Call SDLC Standards.
• Develops logic for new applications or modifies existing.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
• Maintains and integrates application components.
• Demonstrates understanding of One Call systems and the workers compensation industry.
