Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement full-stack functionality across clinical and administrative web apps and services. You will work on data-rich features, dashboards, and AI-assisted capabilities in a regulated healthcare environment, with potential for technical leadership.

You will mentor a small team, contribute to architecture decisions, and ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned with HIPAA and enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack development with C# and a modern component-based JavaScript framework.
• Experience leading technical projects including contract or partner resources as a technical lead.
• Expert-level C# with ASP.NET Core; expert-level Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid Entity Framework Core and SQL Server skills, with hand-written SQL when needed.
• Experience building data-driven, configurable feature logic and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement full-stack functionality across our web applications and APIs.
• Build interfaces for dashboards and workflows used daily by customers.
• Create configurable, data-driven feature logic adaptable without code changes.
• Integrate AI- and analytics-assisted capabilities with explainable results.
• Author reusable UI components and expose RESTful APIs and serverless functions behind integrations.
• Provide technical direction to a small team of engineers; review code and uphold standards.
• Write secure, HIPAA-conscious code and contribute to automated testing.
• Keep apps current with evolving frameworks; debug across the stack.
• Mentor developers and collaborate across engineering and non-technical teams.
• Assist with releases and build/release automation.
