Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–5 yrs of software engineering experience.
• Excellent communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• OS experience in Linux, UNIX, and/or Windows.
• Experience with Java/J2EE and related tech (Servlets, MDB, JNDI, Jax-RS, JMS, JUnit).
• Experience with APIs/REST, XML/JSON data formats.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, Red Hat).
• CI/CD experience with Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub.
• Database experience with Oracle/DB2/MS SQL/MySQL.
• Ability to read and write Java or other OO languages; JDBC/JDK/JVM traces.
• Experience with static and dynamic code analysis to fix vulnerabilities.
• AI-augmented engineering and debugging using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor).
• Spec-driven or agent-assisted development practices.

Responsibilities

• Define, analyze, and resolve customer escalations with timely updates.
• Investigate and resolve complex escalations using AI-assisted log analysis for root cause and fixes.
• Document resolutions for customers and internal reference.
• Deliver production code fixes end-to-end from defect confirmation to patch development and test generation.
• Contribute to product enhancement work after gaining product familiarity.
• Assist team members on complex issues to broaden exposure.
• Navigate large codebases quickly using AI tools to identify safe fixes.
• Maintain knowledge base content and product documentation.
• Possible after-hour/weekend coverage on pager rotation.
• Other duties may be assigned.
