Job summary

Juvenile Probation Department seeks a Software Developer to design, develop, document, analyze, and maintain computer systems and databases supporting Juvenile Justice programs. You will collaborate with multiple departments, assist in troubleshooting, and contribute to security and data integrity.

The role requires strong skills in C#, WPF, ASP.NET, SQL, MVC, and modern web technologies, with a focus on reliable, user-friendly interfaces and reporting via Crystal Reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or proven work experience on software development topics with two years in software development using Visual Studio C# (WPF, Windows apps, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Crystal Reports) and one year SQL experience.
• Or equivalent education/experience offering required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, documents, analyzes, creates, tests or modifies computer systems, databases or programs based on user design specifications.
• Works with a team of software developers to deliver products on time and meets end-user requirements.
• Provides software development guidance and supports existing internal applications and web services.
• Assists with database and system analysis to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stays current with new trends and innovations in IT and communications within public safety agencies.
