We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Application Developer to provide application development and modernization services supporting business applications related to Parole and the Board of Pardons and Paroles. The developer will contribute to the modernization of the Offender Information Management System and work across the full software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE development, SQL Server, XML, web technologies, and enterprise application frameworks, along with the ability to work on highly complex systems.

The position may be performed remotely, in-office, or in a combination of both. Occasional in-person meetings may be required in Austin or Huntsville, Texas.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CT.

Candidates must be able to comply with applicable TDCJ security, confidentiality, cybersecurity, and data protection requirements. Work must be performed using TDCJ-provided hardware when required.
