Job summary

Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Developer 3 to design, code, test, and maintain software solutions. Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Information Systems or Computer Science and/or 5+ years of application development experience.
• Sql Skills: Strong understanding/abilities with writing SQL functions, queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Microsoft SQL Server development related to RDBMS design, stored procedures, UDF, table structures, triggers, transactions, table variables, etc.
• Program and Report Development: Solid understanding of program and report development using program, report and form development tools.
• Ability to Analyze Business Needs: Analyze customers information needs, business problems and opportunities and determine efficient systems.
• Crystal reports knowledge
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools DevOps
• Knowledge of .NET web framework
• Proficient in C#.NET, with knowledge of their ecosystems
• Experience with PowerApps, Power BI Services, Power Automate a plus
• Knowledge of Hospital EHR processes including eMar, order entry, medication dispensing, assessments, and ADT
• Knowledge of MyAvatar, RxConnect and Dentrix

Responsibilities

• Develop application specifications: Analyze and assist in the development of application specifications
• Design, build and maintain Reports: Crystal Reports, Widgets, Forms, Power Apps and .NET applications/services
• Heavy sql development and extensive use of Crystal Reporting
• Analyze customers information needs and business problems and determine effective solutions
• IT subject matter expert for the assigned applicant areas
• IT development support for assigned tasks
• Maintain, support, and upgrade existing systems and applications
• Teamwork: Work within a team environment in lead or subordinate roles
• Application Development: Ensure quality development and operation of tasks
• Design, maintain and code programs using DBHDD standard programming languages
• Codes, compiles, debugs, documents, and implements computer programs
