Capital Technology Group is seeking a Software Developer to design and lead scalable, secure, mission-driven technical solutions for federal modernization. You will drive end-to-end architecture across applications, integrations, cloud environments, APIs, and enterprise systems while partnering with engineering, product, infrastructure, and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on with Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, and OpenJDK.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, CI/CD, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
• Translate business and product requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Build backend services and APIs using Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, and OpenJDK.
• Develop and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, cloud adoption, and application modernization.
• Apply secure coding practices and support performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Document technical solutions and development processes.
