Job summary

Circle is seeking a Social Media Lead to build Circle’s social and media function from the ground up. This remote role partners with leadership to shape our voice, produce engaging content, and scale our social output across channels.

You’ll own content creation, editing, and distribution, with a focus on short-form video and audience growth in a fully async, globally distributed team. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Experience creating content for tech/SaaS/creator economy brands.
• Video editing and production using professional tools.
• Fluency across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn.
• Clear point of view on what earns attention.
• Understanding of creator economy and brand storytelling.
• Comfortable on camera and remote content capture.
• Ability to build repeatable content systems.
• Strong written and verbal English (CEFR C2).

Responsibilities

• Execute Circle’s social content strategy across channels and translate direction into output.
• Produce and publish social-first content with emphasis on short-form video.
• Edit video independently including clips, hooks, captions, and packaging.
• Build and maintain the content calendar, capture workflows, and cross-team coordination.
• Identify content opportunities tied to partnerships, events, and customer stories.
• Collaborate on longer-form content with future short-form distribution in mind.
• Attend events to capture content and support Circle’s social presence.
• Track indicators like reach, watch-through, saves, and cadence.
• Provide practical recommendations on formats and workflows.
