Job summary

AP on AP Media is seeking a part-time voluntary team member who will lead social media efforts and engage the Asian American community through content creation. This remote position offers an opportunity to work closely with the Creative Director while impacting the APIDA discourse.

Ideal candidates will have a background in creative writing, journalism, or relevant experience. The role requires a commitment of 10 hours a week and an entrepreneurial spirit to shape inclusive work cultures. Equity compensation is provided awaiting seed funding.

Qualifications

• Ability to work remotely with access to wifi.
• 10 hours/week commitment required.
• Experience with Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Majored in creative writing, journalism, or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Create original content that mobilizes the community.
• Engage with comments and messages on social platforms.
• Assist with social media analytics and engagement.
• Research and fact-check all original content.
