Qualifications

• 3-5 years writing social copy for a brand, agency, publisher, creator, or your own audience.
• Portfolio demonstrating voice and performance with hooks, captions, scripts, campaigns, or posts and rationale.
• Exceptional concise writing to create clarity, tension, humor, and momentum in limited space.
• Ability to shift between entertainment, education, product storytelling, creator content, and brand moments.
• Deep fluency in social culture across TikTok, Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and formats.
• Speed and judgment to produce strong options, revise quickly, and maintain accuracy at high volume.
• Strong collaboration and communication to align with cross-functional teams.
• Test-and-learn mindset using audience feedback and performance data to sharpen ideas.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve a recognizable social voice and tonal framework.
• Write sharp, platform-native hooks that stop the scroll and drive engagement.
• Own captions, descriptions, CTAs, and on-screen copy across formats.
• Turn briefs and product stories into tight social scripts and formats.
• Adapt ideas across platforms while keeping the voice consistent.
• Track culture, memes, and audience language to inform copy directions.
• Develop variants and participate in structured creative tests with data-driven improvements.
• Manage a high-volume copy pipeline with briefs, reviews, and publishing deadlines.
