You will analyze large, unique datasets around business cash flow, credit, and risk to build data products and predictive models, interfacing with clients and cross-functional teams to drive impactful decisions. Bring 7+ years in risk/analytics, expertise in modern DS tooling, and a passion for translating business problems into data science solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in risk management, analytics, and/or data science.
• Significant knowledge of small business credit and underwriting.
• Expertise with LLMs and cutting-edge AI tools to create products.
• Full stack data-science/analytics experience from ideation to deployment.
• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and ML algorithms.
• Strong software/data engineering fundamentals with production ML mindset.
• Excellent programming in Python and core data science libraries; proficient in SQL.
• Portfolio of past data science/analytics accomplishments (including source code).

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, diverse datasets to derive insights and inform product opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and leadership to develop data products.
• Lead analytics and data science efforts, mentoring others.
• Interact with clients as a SME on small business credit and Ocrolus analytics.
• Develop scalable models balancing complexity, interpretability, and business needs.
• Translate business challenges into well-defined DS problems.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of data science models from exploration to production monitoring.
• Explore examples like fraud detection, risk scoring, and credit profiling.
