Communities Unlimited is seeking a Small Business Consultant to provide direct, one-on-one management and business skills consulting to startup and existing small businesses across a 7-state region. The ideal candidate will work from home but reside in Central Mississippi, developing trainings and facilitating webinars and workshops while building partnerships to promote local economic development.

Qualifications

• Master’s in business/related field with ≥1 year of ownership/startup experience.
• Bachelor’s in business/related field with ≥5 years ownership/startup experience.
• Strong facilitation, writing, and communication skills; comfortable with everyday business software.

Responsabilités

• Conduct financial and operational assessments for small business clients to identify growth challenges and opportunities.
• Develop service scopes, financial projections, and actionable plans while delivering consulting and financial literacy education.
• Analyze financial data, including ratios, to support decision-making and client growth.
