The Sleep Study Support Specialist role, in SleepView Direct, is a second-shift, primarily work-from-home position that ensures a positive patient and customer experience throughout the sleep testing process.

Key responsibilities include empathetic phone support, scheduling, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration, with HIPAA-compliant handling

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a sleep center, clinical/technical support, or other customer/patient-facing environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, with professional empathy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience documenting interactions and maintaining detailed records.
• Ability to work remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle PHI per HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, empathetic, and effective phone support to patients, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Support patients before and after an overnight study, including equipment coverage and troubleshooting.
• Answer questions about services, scheduling, testing, and next steps with clarity and accuracy.
• Document interactions and follow-up actions thoroughly in the system.
• Make and monitor outbound calls to patients and customers as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate patient testing and ensure study information is accurately documented.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and protect patient information.
