Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Site Supervisor (Scottish power authorised) to lead on-site activities for projects across the United Kingdom. You will oversee start-up, construction, erection, testing and commissioning, ensuring cost-effective execution, schedule adherence and strict safety standards.

Key requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, 5+ years in construction/installation, and Scottish power authorisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Scottish power authorisation and on-site leadership experience required.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan on-site activities with the Project Manager, coordinating resources and milestones.
• Lead site activities across start-up, construction, erection, testing and commissioning.
• Manage subcontractors and maintain safety, quality and cost controls on site.
• Provide regular reporting on progress, HSE, quality and cost to the Project Manager.
