Job summary

Mrsool is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. You will help ensure the stability and reliability of our delivery platform, working with development teams to deploy features and optimize infrastructure.

This role offers the opportunity to impact a high-traffic, regional platform with a focus on scalability and uptime. We value strong automation, monitoring, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar Site Reliability role in high-traffic environments.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, Java, Go).
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and related technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with automation/configuration tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Familiarity with monitoring/alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable infrastructure.
• Design and implement automated deployment and testing pipelines.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents to minimize downtime.
• Improve infrastructure and processes to enhance scalability and efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support.
• Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades of systems.
