Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Site Activation Leader to join our remote team. You will provide expert planning and oversight for clinical trial programs, driving on-time initiation of research sites and coordinating the study critical path across multiple studies and therapeutic areas.

You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, manage activation milestones, and support business development with activation expertise in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–7 years in clinical research operations with site activation leadership.
• Proven experience leading site activation teams and processes.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in clinical research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead site activation planning and strategy for assigned studies, overseeing milestones from feasibility through last site activation.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute the study critical path plan, including site feasibility, site selection, regulatory strategy, and activation.
• Monitor and report site activation progress across studies, identifying delays and risks and leading cross-functional resolution.
• Provide guidance to site activation team members and liaison among project management, site activation, and clinical operations leadership.
• Manage client relationships and communications regarding activation timelines and deliverables for designated accounts.
• Provide strategic guidance and best-practice recommendations to support study initiation and activation outcomes.
• Support business development by contributing site activation expertise to proposals and bid meetings.
• Implement standardized activation processes and drive optimization and quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SOPs; contribute to procedures and templates.
• Lead the use of CTMS, EDC, IRT, and TMF systems to optimize workflows.
• Oversee documentation, data integrity, system maintenance, timelines, and resource allocation.
