Parexel is seeking a Site Activation Leader (Study Start-Up Lead) to join our team and work remotely. You will oversee planning, regulatory strategy, and activation of clinical research sites across multiple studies and therapeutic areas, coordinating with project management, operations, and clients to ensure on-time initiation.

Ideal candidates bring strong site activation leadership, regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in clinical research operations with site activation leadership.
• Experience leading site activation teams and processes.
• Strong knowledge of start-up timelines and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead site activation planning and strategy for assigned studies, from feasibility to activation.
• Develop and execute the study critical path plan, site selection, and regulatory strategies.
• Monitor activation progress across multiple studies and manage risks.
• Guide site activation team members and coordinate with project management and operations.
• Manage client communications on timelines and deliverables; serve as SME for start-up.
• Provide strategic guidance and best practices to optimize study initiation.
• Support business development with site activation input for proposals.
• Implement standardized activation processes and drive quality improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain activation procedures and templates.
• Lead usage of CTMS/EDC/IRT/TMF to optimize workflows.
