Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Site Activation Leader (Study Start-Up Lead) to join our team working remotely. You will provide expert planning and oversight for clinical trial programs, driving on-time initiation of sites and cross-functional coordination across multiple studies and therapeutic areas.

You will lead feasibility through activation, manage study critical paths, and collaborate with project management, site activation, and operations leadership to optimize timelines and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in clinical research operations with site activation leadership.
• Proven experience leading site activation teams and processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical trial start-up processes and requirements.
• Strong regulatory compliance background in clinical research.
• Experience working with clinical research sites and investigators.
• Understanding of timelines and milestone management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead site activation planning and strategy development from feasibility to last site activation.
• Develop and execute the study critical path plan including regulatory activities and ethics strategy.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and drive cross-functional issue resolution.
• Guide site activation team members and liaise with project management and operations leadership.
• Manage client communications regarding activation timelines and deliverables.
• Provide strategic guidance and best practices to support study initiation.
• Support business development with site activation expertise for proposals.
• Standardize activation processes and drive quality improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain activation templates and SOPs.
• Lead CTMS, EDC, IRT, and TMF systems to optimize workflows.
• Oversee documentation, data integrity, and resource allocation.
