Job summary

Marathon Consulting seeks a Microsoft 365 developer/engineer to support clients in Hampton Roads and Richmond, VA. The candidate should have 5+ years with SharePoint 2013+ and 2+ years with SharePoint Online, plus expertise across SharePoint Online, governance, and Power Platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SharePoint 2013+ with migrations/installation/configuration/development or governance
• 2+ years with SharePoint Online with expertise in 3+ areas (Administration, Migrations, SPFX, Modernization/Hub Sites, Governance, Power Automate or Power Apps)
• 5+ years in C# / ASP.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript/React, SQL Server or other web technologies
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Administration
• Excellent problem solving and strong SDLC knowledge
• Willingness to participate in sales/marketing calls and client-facing roles

Responsibilities

• Migrate data into Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online
• Develop custom components and processing using modern web technologies for SharePoint Online and Teams
• Evaluate Microsoft 365 capabilities and recommend new features
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft 365 concepts and best practices
• Create automated business processes with Power Automate
• Design and develop Power Apps for line-of-business processes
• Provide governance and security strategies for Microsoft 365
• Serve as a knowledge expert on Microsoft 365 applications and third-party integrations
• Assist in architecture and administration of security policies for Microsoft 365
