Job summary

firstPRO, Inc. is seeking an experienced SharePoint Business Analyst/Consultant for a short-term project focused on HR document management within Microsoft SharePoint. The role requires independent leadership from requirements gathering through implementation and file migration.

The engagement is primarily remote, with a preference for coming onsite for one day during the project. Duration is 2–4 weeks, with contract employment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
• Experience designing SharePoint information architecture and document management solutions.
• Business analysis experience, including requirements gathering and stakeholder collaboration.
• Knowledge of SharePoint permissions, security, and document governance.
• Experience migrating files from shared drives or servers into SharePoint.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word templates and document standardization.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results within a short project timeline.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and assess existing document management processes.
• Design and implement a structured SharePoint environment to improve document organization and accessibility.
• Create a centralized job description library to streamline document management and eliminate duplication.
• Develop standardized Microsoft Word templates that maintain consistent formatting while allowing designated updates.
• Configure and test SharePoint permissions and security settings to protect confidential HR information.
• Migrate HR documents from existing shared drives or servers into SharePoint.
• Ensure proper file organization, access controls, and document governance.
• Independently manage project deliverables and provide recommendations on SharePoint best practices.
