Job summary

Suvi, an Akima company, is seeking a ServiceNow developer to support OIG OCIO IT services, delivering design, integration, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions across CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and related modules.

The role requires 3+ years of ServiceNow experience, JavaScript scripting, REST/SOAP integrations, and a Secret clearance, with hybrid/remote work options and federal contracting context.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance.
• IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of overall software development or IT engineering experience.
• 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including scripting, configuration, integrations, and module implementation.
• Experience with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow data structures.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex custom applications, workflows, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience supporting enterprise ITSM, ITOM, CSDM/CMDB, or custom platform solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in iterative development cycles.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Any clearance requirements for this position are established by the government contract.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and deploy ServiceNow applications and module enhancements consistent with approved architecture, CSDM/CMDB patterns, cybersecurity requirements, and access models.
• Create business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, Flow Designer workflows, IntegrationHub solutions, APIs, custom applications, and portals/workspaces.
• Build and maintain complex REST/SOAP integrations, data flows, and orchestrations.
• Support and enhance CMDB, CSDM, ITSM, ITOM, and other core platform capabilities.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution for ServiceNow development work.
• Support release planning, deployment activities, and post‑deployment validation.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow leading practices and enterprise architectural standards.
• Maintain technical documentation including designs, configuration records, data flows, and test cases.
• Support Agile delivery by participating in backlog refinement, sprint activities, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, testers, and Government stakeholders to ensure delivered solutions meet approved requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and team members.
• Support legacy-system retirement through migration planning, data mapping, and workflow transition activities.
