Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Service Technician for a remote-based role with travel within a 1–2 hour radius of Phoenix, AZ. You will service air compressors, dryers, and related equipment, install systems, and participate in training at the Air Academy.

You will maintain safety practices, complete service documentation, and support customers with expert recommendations while coordinating with the Service Manager.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul and repair of industrial equipment (electrical/hydraulics/pneumatics) preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; EPA certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required; reside within reasonable commute of assigned territory (30 min to 1 hour).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Attend training at our Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
• Maintain safety procedures and PPE use.
• Complete all service-related documentation (reports, forms, warranty, oil sample, parts return).
• Travel to customer locations (including out-of-town/overnight) as territory requires.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call pool with other Technicians.
