Job summary
Hexagon AB, a global leader in digital reality solutions, seeks a Service Engineer to support customers in the Northeast from a remote home-based position with travel to Michigan worksites. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize CMM systems, working independently in manufacturing environments and delivering exceptional service.
Qualified candidates will have a technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Mechanics, hands-on CMM experience, and strong
Qualifications
- Must have hands-on experience with CMM equipment or industrial automation.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Willingness to travel 100% within the Northeast/Michigan region.
- Able to work independently in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain CMM systems at customer sites.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues and implement fixes.
- Provide technical training and operating guidance to customers on machine use and maintenance.
- Document service activities and submit detailed reports.
- Collaborate with support and engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
- Manage service schedules and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
