Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a Service Engineer I to support customers from a home-based location in or near Greensburg, Indiana. This field-based role requires frequent regional travel to customer manufacturing sites and is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and related precision measurement equipment.

This is a hands-on customer-facing role for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with hand tools and electrical test equipment.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-facing communication required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on CMM systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, computer, and software issues using established procedures.
• Provide clear technical guidance on operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Document service activities and reports in a timely manner.
• Travel up to 100% as needed, including overnight travel.
