Job summary

Pet Honesty is seeking an SEO and AI Search Leader to own organic and AI-driven discovery across our DTC site, marketplaces, and retail partners. You will drive strategy, audits, and content optimization to improve crawlability, retrieval, and product recommendations across channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical and organic SEO with focus on AEO and GEO
• Hands-on experience improving visibility across AI-powered search, answer and shopping experiences
• Strong understanding of how search engines crawl, index, retrieve and recommend content
• Experience with Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs and AI visibility platforms

Responsibilities

• Build and own Pet Honesty's global search strategy across DTC, marketplaces and retail
• Conduct regular audits (technical, content, keyword, schema) and create a prioritized roadmap
• Test content structures, formats, sources, and signals to boost AI visibility and product recommendations
• Monitor AI and search platforms for crawl, index, and retrieval trends affecting visibility
• Collaborate with Ecommerce, Growth, Marketing and BI to remove barriers and improve structured data
• Improve product data quality across PetHonesty.com, feeds, and retailer pages
• Own onsite and offsite content including education pages, FAQs and product comparisons
• Set and maintain content standards for AI-friendly, machine-readable copy and signals
• Brief freelancers or internal experts to ship content quickly and effectively
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align discovery with revenue goals
• Lead the SEO and AI discovery roadmap and measure impact on traffic and conversions
