Job summary

Leidos in Reston, VA is seeking a Sensor Integration Engineer to lead the integration and validation of force protection sensors within an integrated architecture for a DoD program.

Responsibilities include configuring radar, EO/IR, LiDAR, EW, and access control technologies, performing field testing, and ensuring interoperability across Government-furnished, Leidos, and partner systems. A current clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 8–12 years of experience or Master’s with 6–10 years of experience.
• Experience leading DoD programs and integrating EW/C-UAS/radar/EO-IR/LiDAR sensors.

Responsibilities

• Integrate force protection sensors into the unified operational architecture.
• Configure and validate radar, EO/IR, LiDAR, acoustic, EW, and access control technologies.
• Support sensor-to-COP integration and data fusion activities.
• Validate interoperability between Government-furnished, Leidos, and teammate-provided systems.
• Coordinate sensor configuration with software and systems engineering teams.
• Conduct field integration testing and operational validation.
• Support end-to-end operational workflow validation and ORRs.
