Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sensor Integration Engineer to serve as the technical lead for integrating, configuring, testing, and validating force protection sensing technologies for the Rock Island Arsenal OTA Prototype. You will align radar, EO/IR, LiDAR, EW, and access control sensors into a unified COP architecture.

The role requires DoD program leadership, multi‑sensor fusion expertise, field testing, and collaboration with software, systems engineering, and field personnel to ensure interoperable,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years relevant DoD experience or Master’s with 6–10 years.
Leadership of complex DoD programs in EW, C-UAS, Radar, EO/IR, LiDAR.
Experience with multi-sensor fusion and COP platforms.
US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead integration of force protection sensors into unified architecture.
Configure and validate radar, EO/IR, LiDAR, EW, and access control technologies.
Coordinate sensor data fusion and API/interface integration.
Support field deployment, testing, and operational readiness reviews.
Troubleshoot interoperability issues and drive corrective actions.
