Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and validate WC claim; confirm policy coverage.
• Investigate for validity and compensability; gather docs for state agencies.
• Establish reserves and authorize payments within limits.
• Develop action plans with case manager to reduce costs.
• Coordinate early return-to-work efforts with relevant parties.
• Manage subrogation and possible litigation.
• Report claims to excess carrier when applicable.
• Maintain communication with customer and claimant.
• Ensure compliance with state rules and IIPP.
